BLUE MOON HUSKIES – PUPPY SALES AGREEMENT & HEALTH CONTRACT

This contract is legally binding and applies to the purchase of the following puppy:

PURCHASE PRICE & PAYMENT TERMS
1.1. The total purchase price of the puppy is $3,500 (or as agreed).
1.2. A $500 deposit is required to reserve the puppy and is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance.
1.3. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the time the puppy reaches 7 weeks of age.
1.4. Payment must be made via Cash, PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo. No checks or other payment methods will be accepted.
1.5. If the buyer fails to pay the balance by the due date, the breeder reserves the right to sell the puppy to another buyer and the deposit will be forfeited.
HEALTH GUARANTEE & BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY
2.1. The breeder guarantees that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale.
2.2. The buyer has 30 days from the date of receiving the puppy to take them to a licensed veterinarian for a health check.
2.3. If the buyer fails to have the puppy examined within 30 days, the health guarantee is void.
2.4. If the veterinarian finds a genetic health issue within this period, the breeder must be notified immediately with documentation from the vet.
- GENETIC HEALTH WARRANTY
3.1. This puppy is covered by a 2-year genetic health warranty against life-threatening congenital disorders.
3.2. If a genetic issue is suspected, the buyer must provide official documentation from a licensed veterinarian.
3.3. Before any further decisions are made, the breeder reserves the right to have the diagnosis confirmed by their own veterinarian.
3.4. If a genetic defect is confirmed, the breeder will offer one of the following options:
- A replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter (No cash refunds).
- The buyer may choose to keep the puppy, and the breeder may contribute a reasonable amount toward vet expenses at their discretion.
3.5. The breeder is not responsible for any vet bills incurred after the puppy leaves their care.
GENERAL HEALTH EXCLUSIONS
4.1. The following are not covered under this contract:
- Any illness due to neglect, abuse, or improper care.
- Any health issues resulting from vaccinations, deworming, or other routine veterinary treatments.
- Hernias, parasites, diarrhea, coccidia, giardia, viral/bacterial infections, or hypoglycemia, as these are common in puppies and treatable.
- Any condition resulting from poor diet, excessive exercise, or environmental factors.
- BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1. The buyer agrees to provide the puppy with proper care, shelter, and veterinary treatment.
5.2. The puppy is sold as a pet only, with no breeding rights unless stated otherwise in writing.
5.3. If the buyer can no longer care for the puppy, they must contact the breeder first before rehoming. The puppy cannot be resold, surrendered to a shelter, or given away without the breeder’s written consent.
5.4. The buyer agrees NOT to use the puppy for illegal activities, including dog fighting or puppy mills.
- RETURN & REFUND POLICY
6.1. Under no circumstances will a cash refund be given.
6.2. If the buyer decides they no longer want the puppy, they must return it to the breeder.
6.3. The breeder is not required to provide a replacement or refund if the buyer simply changes their mind.
LEGAL CLAUSES
7.1. This contract is legally binding, and any disputes will be handled in [Your State] jurisdiction.
7.2. If the buyer breaches this contract (e.g., resells the puppy without breeder’s consent), the breeder has the right to reclaim ownership of the puppy without compensation to the buyer.
